Repeat after me...
I am the master of my habits.
Yes!
There are going to be daily habits that you want to adopt, routines if you will.
Because, it’s those habits and routines, the things you do over and over and over, that add up to be big things.
It’s not the things you do only when you feel like it, it’s the things you do even on your worst days when you don’t feel like it.
Master a few habits and no matter what life hands you, you have a strong foundation to get you through.

What daily habits have you adopted?

Less work, more play!
To do lists, ambitions, having it all...it’s a lot of work. Make sure to set some time aside for play, too. Let’s create a list of fun things to do!

Post 3

Change the words “have to” to “get to”.
Many things you HAVE to do are the same things other people WISH they could do.
It may sound like this:
• I get to be there when my kids are sick.
• I get to work on my business after everyone goes to bed.
• I get to have my parents over for dinner.
• I get to pack for my vacation.
There are people out there that wish they had a family, parents, a business or were taking a trip.
I’m sure when you look at your life, you GET to do a lot of things you once dreamed of doing.

Breaks are downtime for your brain.
Being too busy can inhibit your productivity.
Whether you have 5 minutes or a week, taking breaks will keep your energy high.

Here are some ideas –
5 minute breaks: Walk away from what you’re doing and grab a cup of coffee
15 minute breaks: Do nothing, go for a quick walk, meditate Lunch breaks: Actually put everything down and just enjoy your lunch
Days off: Take a day off, no housework, no business stuff, just off Vacations: Days in a row to just reset everything!

Do yourself a favor and take a break!

This may be a tough message for some...but, don’t be upset about the results you didn’t get from the work you didn’t do.
It’s a fact of life.
If you didn’t do the work, you won’t reap the rewards.
So, if you have a goal or vision you’re working towards – work hard and get there.
Don’t stand in your own way!

Post 8

Are you good at failing?
It’s an interesting question. If you ask anyone successful, they’ll say they’ve failed more times than they count.
What has made them more successful than others? They didn’t give up.
So, take a lesson from their book.
If you failed, congratulate yourself. Because most people don’t even try.

Want to give yourself a spa like treatment at home?
Try dry brushing!
This does require a special natural bristle brush that you can grab at your local spa or purchase online.
Not only does it feel great and help the appearance of your skin, but the benefits go beyond skin deep. Benefits:
• Unclog pores
• Exfoliate and remove dead skin
• Stimulate and increase circulation
• Rejuvenate your cells
• Improve tone and texture and, some say,
reduces the appearance of cellulite
• Stimulate the lymphatic system and help flush
toxins under your skin
• Reduce stress
• Prepare skin for the absorption of body lotions and oils
FAQ’s:
• Don’t dry brush your face
• A longer handles brush will help you reach your
back
• Be gently on your chest area
• Clean your brush with body wash and let dry
out completely
• Replace your brush when it looks matted or
bristles are falling out
There is a proper way to dry brush your skin. Google is your friend, look for a tutorial – don’t worry, it’s easy.

Who has dark under eye circles?
Dark circles can happen at any age. Let’s talk about some lifestyle fixes to minimize them.
1. Get 7 to 8 hours of sleep.
2. Avoid too much salt and alcohol.
3. Drink plenty of water.
4. Wash your face at night. Waking up with left
over makeup and raccoon eyes doesn’t help
(LOL).
5. Be careful not to pull or rub around your eyes.
6. Use a good eye cream.
Rested, clean, moisturized eyes will have you looking bright eyed and bushy tailed, ready to face the day.

Is breakfast the most important meal of the day? Some prefer to skip breakfast or don’t feel hungry in the morning.
Some love to eat breakfast and say it’s their favorite meal of the day.
Breakfast literally means to break fast.
It’s the first food you consume in your digestive system after the overnight hours.
So whether you eat first thing or later on, the most important thing is that you eat the RIGHT food to set your energy and mood for the rest of the day!

Do you use your eyeshadow as JUST eyeshadow? It can be used as so much more!
Using your eyeshadow as eye liner can be a fun and simple way to switch up your make-up game! The one thing you’re going to need is an eyeliner brush. They’re very easy to find at most make-up stores.
Three simple steps to using your eyeshadow as eyeliner:
1. Wet the brush and dab it slightly dry, you don’t want water dripping off of it
2. Lightly tap the end of the brush in your eyeshadow
3. Starting at the center of your lid, slowly brush the shadow along your lash line
You will probably need to do this a few times to get the look you want, but it doesn’t take long!
Also, if you make a mistake, just take a cotton bud and wipe it away

SKINCARE MYTH:
Your skin gets used to skincare products and after a bit they stop working.
FACT:
When starting with a new skincare system you will see much of the benefits within the first few months. The ongoing benefits are difficult to measure.
Skincare will continue provide preventive care as well as maintain your benefits. RECOMMENDATION:
Take a picture of your face from a couple of different angles before you start a new skincare system.
Write down how you feel about your skin. Make notes on things like spots, dryness, darkness, and blemishes, literally anything you can think of to describe your skin.
Take another picture and more notes at 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks. By now you should be seeing results.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
Changes are subtle and sometimes when you see yourself every day it’s hard to see the results.
If you find skincare you love – stick to it! The benefits go way beyond your initial results.

Every day can’t be a perfect day.
We all have THOSE days.
But even on days like these, if we set a few intentions, we can still manage to squeak out some moments of peace to keep our sanity.
Always begin your day with some selfcare, so no matter what comes at you during the day you at least had a good start.
Carve out 5 or 10 minutes to take a mental break. Walk away for a few minutes and regroup.
Listen to some music. Music has a way of calming us down or cheering us up. Play a song or two and give your mind a rest.
Plan to give yourself a reward at the end of the day no matter how the day went. Drink a cup of tea, watch a show, read a book, take a bath...settle down and breathe.
No, every day can’t be a perfect day, life is life and sometimes it’s tough. On these days it will take some extra effort to keep it together. Even a few minutes here and there throughout the day can make all the difference and help you gather your perspective.

Remind yourself, I’ve got this!

We all love a night out and letting our hair down – time with family and friends to relax and enjoy life. But, do you ever feel like those moments can so easily derail your efforts to be healthy, especially when there are alcoholic beverages (or even just sugary drinks) involved?
It doesn’t have to a crazy night on the town, although it could be, it could be attending a
wedding, birthday party, after work drinks...any event that means indulgences.
At the end of the day you want to avoid that feeling of overthinking your decisions while you’re out... and let’s be honest, you want to avoid an alcohol or sugar hangover!
Here are some easy tips to help you prepare:
1. Drink extra water – our body needs water and going out, normally includes more salt and sugar, so make sure to drink a little extra water throughout the day.
2. Eat a healthy breakfast and lunch – don’t skip a meal before you go out because you assume you’ll want to “drink your calories”, it’s the worst thing you can do for your system and your potential hangover (if you’re drinking).
3. Plan to alternate any alcoholic drinks – no one likes a hangover, so rather than one drink after the next, make a plan to alternate your drinks: one alcoholic beverage to one glass of water.
And here’s a thought...don’t overdo it.
Your body will thank you the next day if you go out with a plan on how you’re still going to take care of yourself.

There are so many tutorials on how to make your makeup look natural, as if you’re not wearing any.
And then they show you how much makeup you need to achieve that look!
How about this...we just wear a little less sometimes!
Great skincare goes a long way to evening skin tone, correcting issues and building confidence. But, there are also easy makeup options to give a flawless appearance without piling it on.
Here are four makeup steps to achieving an “every day” look, easily:
1. Wear tinted moisturizer or CC Cream 2. Fill in your eye brows
3. Use a blush
4. Apply mascara
Done!

Topic: The Importance of Having a Support Network

Whatever you do in life, whether you _________________ (hold down a day job/run a business/manage a busy household) or ________________ (look after relatives/help with your partner’s business/fill your days with personal growth), it’s important that you have a support network around you.
Everyone needs a team cheering them on. It could be __________________- (your kids/your partner/your family) or
_____________ (your colleagues/your business associates/your team), but whoever it is, you need to have people around you to pick you up in the challenging times and to celebrate your wins. What does your support network look like?

Topic: Learning to love Mondays

How do you feel about Mondays?
Lots of people dread Monday mornings. In fact, for many, the dread begins to creep in on a Sunday evening. If you _________________ (don’t enjoy your work and get no job satisfaction/ have a high pressure job and you know you’re going to face a full inbox/have a micro managing boss who watches your every move), the chances are you’re not going to be excited about the Monday morning commute.
But it doesn’t have to be like that, even if you don’t particularly like your job. We are all capable of changing our perceptions and making the most of what we have. Try applying a little gratitude to your Monday mornings and see how it changes your mood. Here are some affirmations to repeat on your way in to work:
(Use as many as you need, or add some of your own)
I am grateful to have a job that pays me a reliable wage each month.
I love my co-workers and look forward to spending time with them each week.
I am independent and can pay my own way, thanks to my job.
My job is teaching me skills I can use to create a more meaningful career path in the future.
My wage allows me the freedom to take holidays and treat my kids. My job ensures I have a roof over my head, and food in the cupboard.
Monday is a chance for a fresh start every week.
Did you decide to use one of these, or do you have some affirmation of your own.

Topic: The Products I Couldn’t Live Without

When I first partnered with _________________ (Name of your company), the main reason I started my business was __________________ (to make some extra money/to build a business I could replace my day job with/to get some great products at discounted prices) but what I didn’t expect was just how much I would fall in love with the products.
I’d already been introduced to __________________ (name of product) which I loved because _________________ (benefit of using the product), and _________________ (name of product) which I also loved because __________________ (benefit of using the product) but even though they’re great, the products I couldn’t live without today are ________________ (name of product) and ________________ (name of product).
These _______ (number) products are amazing because __________________ (list all the benefits) and even if I decided not to continue with my business, I would still be a lifelong customer because I cannot live without them now.
Have you tried ______________ ? (name of product)

Topic: What Does an Average Day Look Like For Me?

What do I do all day? Plenty of people have asked me, so I thought I’d give you a breakdown of an average day for me, a busy _________________ (Mom/business owner/job title).
A normal day starts with _______________ (getting the kids up, ready and off to school/a trip to the gym, yoga or a run/journaling and meditation) after which I grab a breakfast of ______________ (your brand of smoothie/overnight oats/toast and coffee).
Next, I head ______________ (to the shops to stock up on things the household needs/into work and check my schedule for the day/ to my desk to plan out my day).
Usually, I will __________________ (focus on meal prepping and laundry/focus on enjoying the bits of my job I love/focus on the urgent things first and work down the list in order of priority).
Then it’s lunchtime. I always try to _______________ (take a break from the chores/get outside and see some daylight/stop what I’m doing and eat mindfully).
In the afternoon, I make time to ________________ (brush up on skills and learning/do some mindset and personal growth work/get through the list without putting too much pressure on myself) and then it’s time to ________________ (pick the kids up from school/ close down for the day/take a break before team calls).
Most days run like this, but obviously, it’s life, so sometimes there’s a curve ball like ______________ (calls from school about sick kids/work emergencies that see my schedule go out of the window/ new customers and team members who need my attention), but on the whole, my days run like clockwork.
So that’s it. I’m busy, but our days are probably pretty similar. The only difference is that I’m running a business __________________ (instead of going to a day job/in my pockets of free time).
Do you have pockets of time you could donate to running a little side business?

Topic: Refer a Friend: Signs Your Buddy Needs to Try My Products

I love my products. I think they’re ___________________ (effective/ life changing/luxurious/ground breaking/the best) but not everyone agrees with me. That’s ok, we’re all different and we all like different things, and that’s what makes us unique. I don’t like every brand and every product, even if you tell me how great they are every day of the week.
For example, my friend ______________ (name a friend) loves _______________ (KFC/AVON/Red Bull/any brand or product your friend likes that you don’t like) but I can’t stand them. Different strokes for different folks.
But just because you haven’t tried _______________ (your company or product line) doesn’t mean your friend won’t like to try _______________ (your company or product line). Maybe ______________ (our skincare range/our healthy eating range/our supplements) could be life changing for your friend, and all it takes is an introduction.
The business world revolves around referrals, and I’m no different. The majority of my business comes from referrals. So if you think
you know someone who could benefit from the products I sell, how about pointing them in my direction?
If they become a customer, I’ll make sure you get a little thank you for the referral.
So who do you know?

Topic: 5 Ways My Business Has Changed My Life

Starting your own business can be both exciting and nerve wracking, so I wanted to just drop by and give you some of the positives, in case you’re sitting on the fence with a brilliant business idea that just needs to fly! Here are 5 ways my business has changed my life personally:
(Edit these 5 or add your own)
1: I have total freedom to work my business around my life. If the kids are sick, I can move things around and stay home with them, rather than having to negotiate with a boss. School holidays are no longer a nightmare to plan, as I can be with them and work my business in and around day to day activities.
2: The extra money coming in from my business has taken the pressure off the family finances, allowing us to upgrade the car, book a nice family holiday/vacation, and treat ourselves to some of the nicer things on our wishlist.
3: My courage in stepping out of my comfort zone has increased since taking personal development seriously. Being committed to my growth, working through my blocks and constantly challenging myself has led me to open doors I would never have opened before.
4: I’m learning so much about the business world. __________________ (customer service/social media/networking) are all areas I am now really knowledgeable about, which just helps me build a better business.
5: I’m happier, and my _______________ (partner/kids/family/ friends) all agree.
So, are you ready to take the leap of faith?

Topic: How to Identify Your Inner Super Power

You have a super power! It’s true! But do you know what it is, and if not, do you know how to find it?
I spent most of my life thinking that ________________ (my office job/my retail job/being a stay at home parent/thing you’ve mostly done for work) was what I’d be doing for the long term, and the savings I managed to accrue from that would be enough to cover the main bills and a couple of luxuries, and I accepted that.
It wasn’t until I started work on my mindset that I started to realize ________________ (there might be more to life/I should be doing something I love/I was capable of more than just getting by) that I started to question why I was doing what I was doing.
Look at what you’re good at, what you enjoy, what you can be paid for, and what the world needs. By working cross referencing these, you will find your superpower.
I found out that my superpower is _________________ (helping others with personal growth/leading teams to success/coaching people to start their own businesses/helping people create better health) and now I love what I do and the impact it has.
What’s your superpower?
