Current events have brought to our attention how much connection and friendships mean to us.

Let’s take the lessons and make family and friends a priority.

It can take just a few minutes or you can connect doing something you would normally do by yourself.

If there were ever a lesson on not taking for granted the people in our lives, pretty sure, we just had it!

Post 4

Do you think what you do makes a difference?
I bet it does.

Think of all the interactions you have in a day, a week, a year, or even your lifetime!

Think of all the people you’ve touched in one way or another. Life wouldn’t be the same without you for MANY people.

You do make a difference.

Is wearing sunscreen a daily habit?

It can be easy to overlook.
Sunscreen is not just for sun filled days, it’s for every day.
Do you know what sunscreen actually does?
It prevents both UVA and UVB rays from penetrating the skin. It’s these two types of radiation that increase your risk of skin cancer and aging.
This may come as a surprise, but no sunscreen can block out 100% of UV radiation, but it gets pretty close.
So, pay close attention to the SPF (or Sun Protection Factor) as it tells you how well a sunscreen can protect you.
And on those days when you’re going to be in the sun for extended periods? Make sure to use a sunscreen with a slightly higher SPF than you normally would.
This is a daily habit you don’t want to forget.

How are your hands looking right now? Probably a little dry and cracked from all the extra washing!

Washing our hands is important all the time, but even more so now. So, whenever possible use a bit of hand lotion immediately after washing to keep your hands from looking like the desert.

Don’t just think “wash.” Think “wash and moisturize.” Two steps. Helpful tip: Keep moisturizer next to your sink and in your handbag. When it’s nearby, you’re more likely to use it.

Post 3

Maybe you haven’t been wearing much makeup lately, but even so, we can all learn a new makeup trick!

Let’s talk about highlighting and contouring.

Don’t shy away from this, it’s much easier than you think!
Here are some simple contouring steps to up your makeup game:

1. You need a good base to contour on, apply your favorite foundation or tinted cream to even out your skin tone.
2. Start by highlighting with a highlighter stick or a liquid concealer in a couple of shades lighter than you’d normally use.
You’ll highlight:
The T-zone above your eyebrows and down the center of your nose Under your eyes and above your cheekbones
3. Next contour using a matte bronzer, contour stick or concealer a couple of shades darker than you normally use.
You’ll contour:
Below your cheekbones
On either side of your nose
Along hairline on your forehead
4. Lastly, using a large makeup brush, blend them together!

See? That isn’t too hard.

Are you getting enough H2O?

Our bodies need water to function. It fuels our brain, organs and skin.

Here are three tips to make sure you are getting enough:
1. Fill a large water bottle in the morning so you can drink it throughout the day.
2. Set reminders in your phone to drink more.
3. Add fruit or veggies to your water. When it tastes good, you’ll drink more.

How much water are you drinking?

Post 5

You are more than a number on the scale.

How you feel on the inside is more important than “that” number. So, the next time you feel yourself getting sad that you haven’t hit a goal, think about how you’re feeling.
Are you feeling better about yourself?
Are you learning how to take care of yourself?
Are you doing your best to put your health first?
That’s what matters.

So, don’t let a number on a scale dictate how you feel about yourself.

You are so much more than a number.

Are your feet ready for painted toes and sandals?

Here is the busy woman’s foot care routine:
• Start in the shower, your feet will be soaking while you’re taking a shower
• Use a nail brush to clean under your nails and then give your feet a good scrub with a brush or pumice stone
• After drying off, apply a foot cream to the soles of your feet It really is as easy as that.

Moisturizing your feet daily will prevent dry, cracked heels and calluses too.

A couple of minutes can make all the difference.

Most people fall into one of four categories, they either:
• Eat breakfast at home
• Eat breakfast in the car on their way to work
• Eat breakfast at their desk
• Skip breakfast

Most would agree that eating at home or packing something to take is both healthy and cost effective.

Taking a few minutes to plan and actually sit and enjoy your first meal of the day can be that bit of self care that you need to start your day.

What’s your breakfast routine look like?

Post 8

How many servings of fruit and vegetables did you have yesterday?

If you had fewer than 3, let’s get back to basics.

One good way to do that is to make sure to have at least one serving of fruit or vegetables at every meal.
• Add a piece of fruit to your breakfast
• Have a garden salad with lean protein for lunch
• Fill half your plate with veggies at dinner

And don’t forget snacks.

Raw fruits and vegetables make great snacks.

To spruce it up add humus or nut butter!

Post 9

Pancakes don’t have to be a “no-no.”
There are so many pancake recipes that are good for you.
Using applesauce, bananas or even adding in some of your favorite protein powder can make these a healthy option.
You can make up a batch on the weekend and even make extra and freeze them to have during the week.
But...
Be careful with toppings. This is where the fat and sugar can really add up.
Try almond butter or fresh fruit instead of butter or syrup.

Pancakes anyone?

With everything that has happened in the world it seems that people are realizing they have been running at 100mph. Some of us have been “forced” to slow down and take a breather.
I have come to appreciate ____ (phone calls with friends/downtime/ house projects/yard work/cooking) again. I have enjoyed spending extra time with ____ (my kids/my partner/husband/wife/family). I have loved (working on my business from home/exercising/doing nothing in particular).
Slowing down a bit may have been what we needed.
Life is moving so fast. One thing I will continue to do more of when life “resumes” is _____ (share an activity that you’re doing that helps to slow you down). Like the saying goes, make sure to take time to smell the roses.

I would love to help you achieve _____ (your health goals/feeling healthy/looking younger than you are/a natural makeup look/your income goals...)

As time has passed, I’ve stayed in my business because ____(I have clients that count on me/my team has become my closest group of friends/I love helping people/I am building something for my future/I have a vision for how my business can change lives). Have you ever started something for one reason but stayed for another?

With the unexpected turns life seems to be taking, one thing that can set each day up with purpose is a morning routine. I’m the ________ (first/second/last) one up in our house and the first thing I do is ________ (make the bed/workout/drink coffee/wash my face). It’s after the first moments that a routine is crucial, not just for you but the household. If you need help starting a good morning routine, write down everything you want to do and how long it will take.
It could include: (pick four things – eating breakfast/working out/ doing laundry/reading/writing in your journal/taking a shower/add your own!)

But one important thing not to forget is some selfcare. A little “me time” before the day gets underway.
Once you have these written down, see how long it will take and then you know what time to wake up, so you can have a morning routine that starts your day with purpose!
Do you have a morning routine you love?

Working from home is the “new norm” for many people.
This is a huge adjustment for many that have spent time working outside the home. So, as you dive into working from home more consistently, it’s important to carve out a space where you can feel inspired and comfortable.
Once you find a space you can consistently work from – that could be your _______ (kitchen, bedroom, living room, home office), it’s time to make it feel like an office. Adding touches that make you happy and comfortable help! This could be ____________________ (picture of loved ones/plants/radio/favorite painting) and I love having them around me as they make me feel ________________ (warm/creative/loved).
And a helpful tip – set working hours! It’s easy to work around the clock when you’re home. Treat your new workspace like your office and you’ll keep that work/life balance.
Have you been working from home?

Be prepared for impact. You know the phrase, but it’s not something many of us do.
It’s one of the reasons I started my business. There were a lot of fears before I started, including ______________ (not knowing enough about my products or business/being judged by others/ putting myself out there) that could’ve held me back.
It’s so easy to spend time ______________ (worrying about what others thought/not believing in myself/procrastinating on unimportant things) when I could’ve been throwing myself into preparing for impact.
If you have an idea in your head, don’t wait for the universe to get into alignment. You go tell the universe _____________ (I’m ready!/
I’m good enough/I don’t care what people think) and watch as your action creates the alignment.
What’s the big idea you’ve been sitting on for way too long that would help you prepare for impact (like what’s going on in the world today!)? Is there something you’ve been on the fence about and need a gentle push in the direction of your dreams? Let me give you a nudge...

Let’s talk about distractions, especially those when we’re home. There are so many, like ____________ (the latest Netflix series/ yummy foods in the kitchen/what’s happening on social media/ housework and chores/a little bit of retail therapy/the kids). Working from home can be a dream for many people, but if there’s one thing I struggle with, it’s staying focused when there’s work to be done and I’d rather be doing anything else.
So how do I ignore the noise and keep my eyes on the prize? Having an accountability buddy to check in with really helps. My buddy _________________ (name them) is working from home too, so we check in with each other _________________ (daily/ weekly/monthly) and bounce ideas or work through problems. It’s good to talk. Who’s your ______ (Zoom/FaceTime/phone/ Skype) buddy?

Let’s be honest, no one planned for their year to take the turn it has. My goals for this year included _______________ (helping more customers discover the benefits of my products/helping more people start their side gig/promoting to the next level in my business). And while, life threw us all a curveball, those goals haven’t changed.
It’s become more important than ever to continue ________________ (writing down my goals/breaking goals down to manageable chunks/using a planner/using a planning app or software/creating a vision board).
By doing this/these, I can see exactly what I need to do and when to keep on track with my goals. We’re nearly halfway through the year and doing this helps to keep me ___________(focused and
accountable/on track with my team’s progress/available to support people launching their own businesses this year).
What big goals are you not giving up on this year?
