Everyone has that someone they call for advice or to “talk things through.”

It can be your mum, best friend, mentor, brother, aunt...honestly, it can be anyone!

And while that person is different for all of us, we can all agree that we’re incredibly grateful for them.

So let’s give them a little love...call, text, message your person and tell them you’re grateful for them.

Share a little love today.

Helpful tip: If it doesn’t make you feel good, stop doing it.

“It” could be anything – you have the power to decide what that is. It could be a job, a relationship, a friendship, a workout, a book...it’s up to you!

Whatever “it” is, if it doesn’t make you feel good, stop doing it.

Post 10

Take it one day at a time.

Life is changing, and trying to figure it all out at the same time can feel overwhelming.

So right now, give yourself a break and take it one day at a time.

Three things you can do to protect yourself from the sun:

1. Wear protective clothing – grab a hat, lightweight long sleeve shirt (rash guard), or scarf.
2. Plan around the sun – work with the shade. For example, when you’re working around the yard, start where the shade is.
3. Make your own shade – when you can’t find it, make it! Umbrellas, pop-up tents and canopies are great for this.

Many times, the effects of getting sunburned don’t show up for years to come.

Take precautions now for added protection.

Your skin will thank you for it!

Sunglasses are more than just a fashion accessory!

While a great looking pair of sunglasses can complete your look, their most important job is to protect your eyes from ultraviolet rays.

Think of them like sunblock for your eyes.

They protect your actual eye and the skin around your eyes, including your eyelids.

If you spend time outside, you want to lower your risk for eye problems and protect your eyes from both UVA and UVB rays.

Remember:
Even on cloudy days the UV rays are still present.

And don’t forget about the kids, they need quality sunglasses as well.

So, rock your fashion statement.

Just make sure they have the protection you need for your gorgeous eyes!

How consistent is your sleep schedule?

It can be tempting to change up your sleeping habits on your days off, but the more you stick to the same sleep routine the better it will be for your internal clock.

Sleeping in a few hours on the weekend may cause a problem later when trying to fall asleep.

On the contrary, staying up late on the weekends will result in groggy mornings and the feeling of dragging through the day.

Think about it...

When you travel, jet lag is a real thing. It can mess with you for weeks!

The more of a routine you create for yourself, the more consistent your energy levels will be.

Stick with your internal clock the best you can!

Want to wake up and feel like a brand new person?

Start the night before!

Give yourself just about 30 minutes before you go to bed and focus on you:
• Take a shower or bath
• Apply your skincare
• Floss your teeth
• Set out your clothes
• Read a book
• Set your alarm to a song you love

A little nightly pampering will not only help you unwind, but will also help you to start your next day on the right foot!

Do you get frustrated when your fruit goes bad quickly?

There is an easy way to wash your fruit so that it lasts longer:
1. Place fruit in one cup of vinegar to eight cups of water (or
eyeball it)
2. Let them soak in that for a few minutes (swish them around a
bit to get all the bacteria off them)
3. Drain in a colander and rinse thoroughly (this will remove the
vinegar taste)
4. Let dry completely
5. Store in a dry container, lined with paper towels, that lets air in.

Helpful tip: If you want to reuse the container the fruit came in, just make sure to wash it with soapy water first.

Makeup doesn’t have to take you long...all you need is a few minutes!

Here are three easy makeup options when time is not on your side:
1. CC Cream/BB Cream/tinted moisturizer: moisturizes and evens out your skin tone (minimizes dark circles, too!)
2. Highlighter: emphasizes your cheekbones
3. Mascara: makes your eyes pop

There you go!

Post 8

Has it been so long since you’ve gone out to eat that you’ve forgotten how to apply makeup? LOL

Maybe you just need a little reminder on how to take your makeup from day to night.

It’s much easier than you think!

Here are three things to add to your makeup when you’re heading out:
1. Eyeliner – highlights your eyes and can make them look bigger
2. Bronzer – makes your cheekbones pop even more
3. Lipstick or lipgloss – evenings are a chance to play with a colour
you wouldn’t normally wear! Go for red or bright pink!

You can even use your lipstick as a blush to add a bit more colour to your cheeks. Or smudge your eyeliner to give a smokier look.

How’s your “check engine” light doing?

Headaches – you may need more water Skin issues – could be your diet
Exhaustion – you need more rest
Stress – you need downtime

What does your check engine light look like for you?

It’s BBQ season!

It’s so much fun to spend time outside with friends and family, but it can also feel very glutinous.

Here are some easy ways to keep it healthy while still enjoying your favorite foods:
1. Add some greek yogurt: if a recipe calls for mayonnaise, replace half of it with greek yogurt
2. Watch the sugar in BBQ sauce: look at sugar content in the sauce, aim for one that isn’t too high (one tablespoon of sugar = 4 grams)
3. Add some fruit and veggies: it’s easy to overload on chips and dip, so put some fruits and veggies on your plate to fill up on good stuff too!

You can still enjoy a BBQ and stick to your healthy eating plans!

I can _____________ (work an extra hour later in the day/ reschedule a task for tomorrow/multitask if necessary).

Working my business from home has allowed me to be available for those unexpected moments, there have been a lot of them recently. While they may distract me for a moment, I love that I can work around my life.

I think we can all look back at a time when life took a turn.

Today, I’m throwing it back to ________________ (date/year/period of life), a time when my life definitely wasn’t heading in the direction I thought it would. When this photo was taken, I

was _________________ (describe the negative situation).
But not all situations need to stay negative and I knew I had to turn it around. So, luckily for me, this situation wasn’t forever and I had my breakthrough moment when ___________________ (describe what gave you the lightbulb moment).

Today, life looks very different (and no, not because of the current situation around the world). I have ________________ (describe what’s positive in your life) and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve still got some big goals to smash and I don’t dwell on the past, but it’s good to look back sometimes, right? If only to see just how far you’ve come.

Category: Social Proof
Topic: The Biggest Transformations in my Business

Every morning we wake up and there’s a reason to get out of bed... and I’m not just talking about being hungry or needing the bathroom.

My reason every morning is _______________ (to give my kids everything I didn’t have/to retire my partner/to look after my parents/ to inspire others to do and be all they can be).

So whenever I feel like rolling back over and hitting snooze, I just remind myself of my why and it picks me right up again.

Knowing that what I’m doing is impacting people’s lives is a huge motivator. I love seeing people _______________ (win/change their lives for the better/pay it forward and help others).

Tell me, why do you get out of bed each morning?

Post 9

Looking for recommendations, what are you reading right now? I’m searching for my next book.

I’m going to pay it forward. I’ve read a lot of great books, but I think the one that I’ve enjoyed the most has been ____________________ (name of book) because _________________ (reason you love the book).

Tell me what you’re reading right now, maybe

I’ll add it to my list!

Are you a perfectionist?

When I first started my business, I felt like everything I did had to be perfect or I would ____________ (feel like a failure/feel like everyone was judging me/feel like giving up).

I remember feeling like I had to know everything right from the start. Deep down, it’s because I really wanted to _____________ (be a success/prove people wrong/make my family proud), but I ended up overcomplicating everything and achieved nothing.

But I’ve come to realize that failure is not the end. In fact, it’s a necessary part of growth. Without trying and failing, I wouldn’t have learned _____________ (how to pick myself up/how resilient I am/ teach my team how to work through it).

So today, I see failure as an opportunity to learn and grow. Being perfect isn’t sustainable. Making mistakes is where the growth happens.
